The dosing tube is a key component of the peristaltic dosing pump in the Mr.Pure automatic station. The peristaltic mechanism compresses the tube, creating a precisely dosed amount of liquid chemical (acid or base for pH regulation, liquid chlorine or biocide).
The tube is made of highly chemically resistant silicone or TPE, which withstands concentrated solutions of sulphuric acid, hypochlorites and other aggressive agents for pool water treatment. The diameter and length of the tube correspond exactly to the specifications of Mr.Pure dosing units.
The peristaltic tube wears gradually due to internal mechanical stress and is recommended to be replaced preventively every season or upon detection of inaccurate dosing. Replacement is quick and does not require professional assistance.
