Drain plug for SS pump

The drain plug of the SS pump is a small but important part that allows the residual water to be drained from the pump body before winter shutdown or repair. When winterising the pool correctly, draining the pump is a necessary condition for preventing frost damage — even a small amount of water frozen in the body can cause the volute to crack. The plastic design with a sealing ring guarantees easy fitting without tools and absolute watertightness during operation. The original plug dimension is matched to the drain opening of SS series pumps and cannot be replaced by a generic plug of a different diameter. We recommend checking the plug preventively at the start of each season and replacing it immediately in the event of cracking.
