The 45° PVC elbow of diameter d90 with a nominal pressure of PN16 is designed for larger pool pipe diameters where the direction of the run needs to be changed without significantly dampening the flow.
The larger flow cross-section comparable to d90 pipe reduces pressure losses to a minimum and protects the circulation pump from unnecessary overload.
The fitting is installed by gluing with standard PVC adhesive and, once cured, ensures permanent tightness even at an operating pressure of 16 bar.
