The 90° PVC-U elbow in the glue/female-thread version with a diameter of 20 mm and a 1/2″ BSP thread serves for a right-angle change of direction of the pipe run with a transition to a threaded connection. The fitting combines a glue socket with a female thread for connecting threaded fittings or devices.
The 20 mm diameter with a 1/2″ thread finds application in chemical dosing circuits, in powering sensors or in small recirculation branches of a pool installation. The glue socket ensures a firm connection with d20 PVC piping without unnecessary adapters.
The compact dimensions of the elbow allow use even in the tight spaces of a technical shaft or pool technology box. The PVC-U material withstands common pool chemicals as well as operating pressures of the PN16 class.
