The brass fitting combines a PVC socket with a diameter of 63 mm with a 2″ male brass thread. This transition is essential when connecting plastic piping to metal fittings, pumps or heat exchangers with a brass or bronze thread.
The brass thread ensures a firm joint even under higher tightening and repeated assembly, where a plastic thread could crumble. The fitting resists operating pressure, thermal expansion and pump vibration.
The PVC part of the fitting is bonded with standard PVC adhesive and primer; the brass part is sealed with Teflon tape or thread sealant. Suitable for installations in pool plant rooms, booster stations and industrial applications.
