The front part of the New Contra pump body is the main load-bearing hydraulic component that forms the suction chamber and carries the pump’s suction inlet. The precisely cast geometry ensures optimal hydraulic conditions and minimal flow losses.
In the event of mechanical damage, cracking or deformation of the front part, water leakage and a drop in performance occur. Replacement with an original part restores the geometry and tightness of the entire hydraulic housing without the need to purchase a new pump.
The part is made of engineering plastic resistant to chlorinated water, UV radiation and mechanical stress. Together with the body seal and the rear part, it forms the complete hydraulic unit of the pump.
