The gasket for the backing flange d50 made of EPDM material is intended for flanged joints of PVC-U pipe in size 50 mm. EPDM (ethylene propylene diene rubber) is one of the most durable sealing materials for pool applications – it exhibits excellent resistance to chlorinated water, UV radiation and temperature fluctuations.
The gasket precisely follows the shape of the backing flange and, after tightening the flange bolts, creates a hermetic joint with no water leakage. The material retains its elasticity even after many years of operation, so the joint can be disassembled and reassembled if needed.
Suitable for use in pool filtration, pressurised water pipework and counter-current units. The gasket is a spare part compatible with flanged joints according to the relevant PVC standards.
