The gasket under the d200 flange collar made of EPDM material is a replacement or assembly part for flange joints of PVC-U pipes with a diameter of 200 mm. A properly fitted gasket prevents water leakage at the flange joint.
EPDM (ethylene-propylene-diene monomer) is an elastomer with excellent resistance to chlorine, ozone, UV radiation and temperatures within the range required for pool operation. The gasket retains its elasticity even after years of operation.
The gasket is used during the assembly or reconstruction of flange joints in the pool’s technical piping — at filter vessels, pumps or distribution nodes. Its correct installation is a condition for the long-term watertightness of the entire flange joint.
