The Hose Tail d16–16 PN16 made of PVC-U is a fitting allowing transition from a rigid plastic pipe installation to a flexible 16 mm diameter hose. The d16 solvent-weld socket is firmly joined to the pipe; the barbed part is inserted into the hose and secured with a hose clamp.
The nominal pressure PN16 ensures reliability even in systems with higher working pressure. The PVC-U material is resistant to chlorinated water and chemicals in pool pipework.
It is used when connecting flexible hoses of hot tub jets, dosing pumps or air-bleed lines to a rigid pipe circuit.
