The hose tail with a diameter of 63 mm and a 2 inch external thread is designed for use in the main branches of pool pipework, where higher water flow rates are required. The massive construction from PVC-U resists mechanical stress as well as aggressive chemicals.
The grooved surface of the tail firmly fixes the hose and minimizes the risk of leakage even at higher pressure in the system. The joint can be further secured with a standard tightening metal or plastic clamp.
The PVC-U material is certified for contact with drinking water and resists chlorinated pool water over the long term. Operating temperature up to 60 °C, maximum pressure up to 10 bar.
