The impeller cover (diffuser) for ESPA Tifon 50-200M pumps is a stationary hydraulic part surrounding the impeller, whose shape converts the kinetic energy of the water into pressure energy at the discharge port.
Damage to the diffuser (cracks, broken guide vanes) causes turbulent flow, increased noise and a drop in the overall hydraulic efficiency of the pump.
The part is dimensioned for the entire Tifon 50-200M performance range and shares the geometry of the mating surfaces, thereby simplifying service supply.
Replacement is carried out after dismantling the front part (suction body) of the pump and loosening the diffuser fastening screws.
The original ESPA design guarantees the precise flow geometry for restoring performance equal to the parameters of a new pump.
