The gasket between the impeller cover and the pump body is one of the most stressed sealing elements – constant water pressure and vibrations gradually degrade it. Timely replacement prevents dripping under the pump and damage to the electrical part of the motor by moisture.
The gasket is precisely adapted for Victoria pumps and matches the manufacturer’s original dimensions. The EPDM or NBR material ensures long-term resistance to chlorinated pool water.
Replacement is advisable whenever the front body of the pump is opened – when replacing the seal or the impeller. The price of this small part is negligible compared to the consequences of a pump leak into the technical room.
