InverPro Pump Drain Plug

The drain plug is a small plastic or rubber element that closes the drain opening in the body of the InverPro pump. It is used for quick and complete draining of water from the pump before winterization or longer-term shutdown of the pool.

Proper winterization of the pump – i.e. completely draining the water – prevents the body from cracking due to frost, which would result in the destruction of the entire pump. The plug is therefore an inconspicuous but key component of frost damage prevention.

Replacing a lost or damaged plug costs very little, yet it protects a valuable investment in the pump. The original part precisely matches the diameter of the InverPro pump’s drain opening.
