The lid with a seal is a service set for the Praga range of filter vessels. The complete set contains a plastic lid and the matching O-ring seal, so after replacement the filtration is immediately ready for leak-free operation without the need to source the seal separately.
The lid is designed with an emphasis on easy operation – opening and closing the filter to replace the media or for an internal inspection can be done with minimal tools. The material withstands continuous operation in chlorinated water as well as temperature shocks during seasonal winterising.
A cracked or deformed lid reduces the operating pressure of the filter and causes water leaks. Timely replacement with the original set is the safest and most cost-effective repair, restoring the full functionality of the Praga filtration.
