The LifeUV L0148-NW-EB UV steriliser uses a low-pressure UV lamp with a wavelength of 254 nm, which effectively inactivates pathogens, algae and chlorine-resistant microorganisms such as Cryptosporidium or Giardia without leaving any chemical residue in the pool water.
The device is installed directly into the circulation pipework downstream of the filter tank and operates fully automatically without the need for supervision. The flow of water through the UV chamber is optimised so that every litre of water receives a sufficient UV dose for reliable disinfection.
The stainless steel reactor is corrosion-resistant and ensures a long service life of the entire device. The electronic control unit (EB) monitors the status of the lamp and signals the need for its replacement, so the sterilisation efficiency is always under control.
Combining the UV steriliser with standard chlorination significantly reduces overall chlorine consumption, improves water quality and minimises eye and skin irritation for bathers.
