The M6 × 30 screw is a fastening element used in the assembly of the Emaux SS pump body. Correct tightening of the screws ensures the pump’s seal and prevents water from penetrating into the motor section or leaking out of the hydraulics.
During service disassembly of the pump (replacement of seals, impeller or mechanical seal) the screws must be loosened, and during reassembly new ones should be used or the condition of the existing ones checked. The original Emaux screw has the correct thread, length and surface treatment for the chemical environment of the pool.
We recommend ordering a set of several pieces at once for future service needs. The part is compatible with all pumps of the Emaux SS series.
