The Mr.Master pre-filter filtration basket is a plastic perforated basket that is placed in the pre-filter housing (strainer) of a pool pump and catches debris such as leaves, hair and coarse particles before they reach the hydraulic section of the pump. Protecting the pump with the basket significantly extends the service life of the impeller and the mechanical seal. The original basket matches the exact dimensions of the Mr.Master pre-filter and sits in the body without play. We recommend cleaning the basket at least once a week during the swimming season or after any heavier soiling of the pool.
