The MTS main drain flange is a structural component that connects the body of the main drain to the liner or floor tiles of the pool and ensures the watertightness of the entire joint. Without a properly functioning flange, there is a risk of water seeping into the pool’s substructure, which can cause serious structural damage.
The original dimensions of the flange correspond exactly to the design of the MTS main drain and guarantee proper compression of the seal and firm attachment to the substrate. The material is resistant to water column pressure, pool chemicals and UV radiation.
The flange is used during a new main drain installation or during pool renovation, when it is necessary to replace a damaged or corroded original flange. We always recommend combining it with the original MTS seal to guarantee watertightness.
