The O-ring is a key sealing element at the point of the side lid of the PTK and Europa series filter vessel. When the seal wears out or deforms, water leaks around the lid and the pressure in the filtration system drops.
Replacing the O-ring is the simplest and cheapest repair for a leaking filter – simply open the lid, remove the old ring, clean the seating surface and fit the new seal. The whole operation takes only a few minutes and does not require professional service.
The original seal is made of a special elastomer resistant to chlorine, pool chemicals and water temperature. Compatible with the PTK and Europa filter series.
