The OCEAN solar panel is intended for the direct heating of pool water using solar energy. Water circulates via the existing pump directly through the channels of the panel, where it is naturally heated, and returns to the pool – without electricity, gas or any operating costs.
The panels are laid on the surface of a roof, terrace or garden surface with a southern orientation and an inclination of 15–35°. Connecting several panels in series (in line) increases the output temperature; connecting them side by side (in parallel) increases the flow rate and heating speed.
The panel material is resistant to UV radiation, frost and pool chemistry. Solar heating is the most economical form of pool heating – the investment usually pays for itself within the first or second season in savings on heating.
