The plug with a 3/4 inch external thread made of PVC-U material is intended to seal unused connections, inspection openings or service outlets in pool and pond installations. The chemical resistance of PVC prevents degradation even during long-term contact with disinfection products.
The BSP 3/4 inch thread is compatible with common fittings and armatures available on the Czech market. For perfect sealing it is recommended to use Teflon tape or sealing paste on the thread before screwing in.
The part is especially practical when winterizing a pool – it reliably closes connections and protects the pipe system against frost damage. Operating pressure PN 16, temperature up to 60 °C.
