Pre-filter basket of the S-Swim pump

The filter basket for the S-Swim pump is shaped to the exact seating dimension of this model’s pre-filter chamber. Structurally it differs from the M-Swim basket, which is why it is necessary to order the correct type according to the pump’s designation.

The basket material – durable polypropylene – withstands temperature fluctuations and aggressive pool chemistry without losing rigidity or deforming the mesh. The density of the mesh captures leaves, hair and solid dirt while maintaining sufficient water flow for the full performance of the pump.

A damaged or deformed basket does not fulfil its function and clogs the impeller, which increases the motor’s power consumption and shortens its service life. We recommend inspecting the basket visually once per season and replacing it immediately if it cracks or deforms.
