The DN250 pre-filter with d140/d140 connections is intended for coarse filtration of pool water before it enters the pump or main filter tank. It removes leaves, fibres, insects and other coarse impurities that could damage pump impellers or clog the filter medium.
The large body diameter of 250 mm ensures a low pressure drop even at high flow rates, while the d140/d140 connections are dimensioned for the transport of truly large volumes of water typical of public swimming pools or water parks. The basket strainer with a sufficient capture area reduces cleaning frequency to a minimum.
The pre-filter body is made of chemically resistant plastic or stainless steel, which withstands the aggressive environment of pool chemistry. Easy access to the strainer allows quick inspection and cleaning without the need to interrupt the operation of the entire installation for an extended period.
