The pressure body forms the outer hydraulic casing of the ESPA Tifon pump – the impeller rotates inside and the body converts the kinetic energy of the water into a pressure head. Cracks, corrosion or mechanical damage to the body are the most common reasons for its replacement.
The spare part is cast from a durable material exactly according to the original ESPA drawings. The flange connection corresponds to the standard pipe dimensions typically used with Tifon pumps.
Replacing the body is a service operation requiring complete disassembly of the pump. On this occasion, we recommend checking and, if necessary, also replacing the impeller, the mechanical seal and all gaskets for maximum extension of the service life of the reconditioned pump.
