The cover seal of the Mr.Pump ECO pump is a rubber sealing element that seals the joint between the cover and the pump body. Without a functioning seal, water would leak from the pump, leading to pressure loss and possible damage to the electric motor by moisture.
The seal is made of elastomer resistant to pool chemicals, including chlorine, salt solutions and pH regulators. The precise dimensions of the part correspond to the original design of the Mr.Pump ECO pump and guarantee a watertight seating without deformation.
Replacement of the seal is a simple service task that does not require special tools – simply unscrew the cover screws, remove the old seal and fit a new one. We recommend carrying out the replacement preventively every two to three seasons or at the first signs of water leakage at the cover.
