The impeller for the Giant-20 and FDN-20 pumps is the key rotating part of the pump’s hydraulic section, which directly determines the flow and pressure of the water in the pool circuit. A worn or damaged impeller causes reduced flow, vibration and overheating of the pump – its timely replacement restores full performance and extends the service life of the entire unit.
The part is made of durable plastic or composite material resistant to pool chemistry, UV radiation and the mechanical stress of high revolutions. Precise dimensioning matches the manufacturer’s original specification and ensures optimal hydraulic efficiency.
Installation requires no special tools – the impeller is simply screwed onto the motor shaft after the pump volute is removed. When replacing it, we recommend also checking the volute seal and the shaft seal, which are likewise available in our range of spare parts.
