The PVC-U socket d160 PN16 is a straight connecting fitting for joining two pipes with a diameter of 160 mm in pool and industrial pipe infrastructure. The PN16 class ensures reliable operation even at increased pressure in the system.
PVC-U is resistant for life to chlorine, pool chemicals and UV radiation without the need for any anti-corrosion protection. The large cross-section of the socket at a diameter of 160 mm guarantees full flow capacity without unnecessary hydraulic resistance.
Installation takes place with a cemented joint using standard PVC glue. The socket d160 is suitable for new installations as well as repairs of the main circulation and filtration pipework of public and private pools.
