The OCEAN union d90 × 3″ with a cement end and a female thread serves to transition from PVC piping with a diameter of 90 mm to equipment or fittings fitted with a male thread G3″. The detachable screw construction allows quick disconnection and reconnection without the need to cut the pipe.
The PVC material of the fitting resists chlorine, disinfectants and pH-regulating chemicals used in pool hydraulics. The female thread 3″ corresponds to common industrial standards for pool pumps, filters and flow meters.
The cement end is connected with standard PVC glue to the pipe run, the threaded end is sealed with a suitable sealing material (Teflon tape or sealing thread). An ideal solution for places requiring regular access to equipment for servicing or replacement.
