Seal for MTS Floor Drain

The seal for the MTS floor drain is a precisely shaped elastomer ring that is inserted between the flange and the pool floor to prevent water from seeping outside the drain’s hydraulic system. The correct function of the seal is a prerequisite for trouble-free and safe pool operation.

The seal material is certified for contact with pool water and withstands pressure and temperature fluctuations throughout the season. We recommend replacing the seal with a new one each time the floor drain is disassembled, because repeatedly compressed rubber loses its ability to seal perfectly.

The original compatibility with MTS accessories guarantees correct dimensions and function – non-original substitutes may have a different thickness or hardness and cause leakage. Installing the seal is part of the standard installation or service inspection of the floor drain.
