The SENA pump body seal is a key element ensuring the tightness of the hydraulic section of the unit. It is fitted between the front cover with the pre-filter basket and the pressure body with the impeller. A worn or cracked seal causes water to drip in the pool plant room and reduces pressure in the hydraulic circuit. The original seal is made of rubber specially resistant to chlorinated water and to pressure up to the pump’s operating parameter values. Replacement is always carried out when dismantling the pump for a new mechanical seal, and we also recommend checking the condition of the entire hydraulic section at the same time.
