The short PVC reducer 140/90 mm of class PN16 provides a transition between significantly different pipe diameters while maintaining a compact fitting length. It is used in particular where a main collecting pipe run branches off or connects to a smaller circuit.
The thick-walled design of the fitting withstands pressure loads of up to 16 bar as well as mechanical influences during installation. Both cementing ends are precisely shaped to achieve a quality joint with PVC pipes or other fittings of the same dimension.
The PVC material is immune to corrosion and does not degrade in contact with chlorinated water or disinfectant products. The 140/90 mm dimension is used in the technology of public pools and water parks with extensive pipe distribution.
