Short PVC Reducer d160/90 PN16 – for Cementing

The short PVC reducer 160/90 mm of class PN16 provides the transition between a large-bore and a medium pipe diameter in a single compact fitting. It is used where a large main distribution line connects to a secondary circuit or to the inlet of lower-capacity equipment.

The thick-walled PVC design guarantees mechanical strength even with a significant difference in diameters and pressure up to 16 bar. The cementing ends of the fitting allow a firm and permanent connection with standard PVC pipes and fittings of the respective dimensions.

The d160/90 dimension combination is used in pool technology where a large supply line feeds smaller distribution circuits. The PVC material does not degrade the water and is fully resistant to pool chemicals.
