The Short Reducer adhesive/female thread d20–3/8 PVC-U combines a 20 mm diameter solvent-weld socket with a 3/8″ female thread. It serves to connect fittings, sensors and instruments fitted with a 3/8″ male thread to d20 plastic pipe.
The PVC-U material withstands chlorinated water and pool chemicals. The threaded joint is sealed with PTFE tape or silicone thread; the bonding part is joined with standard PVC adhesive and cleaner.
The fitting is suitable for dosing stations, UV sterilisers or automatic dosing systems where the inlet connection for the pipe junction is a 3/8″ thread.
