The Short Reducer d75–1 1/2 adhesive/female thread PVC-U is a transition fitting for large pool installations where the d75 backbone pipe circuit transitions to a 1 1/2″ threaded connection. The 1 1/2″ female thread covers the inlet diameters of high-performance pool pumps and other equipment with a larger flow cross-section.
The PVC-U material of the fitting withstands chlorinated water, oxidants and the mechanical stress during installation and operation. The d75 solvent-weld socket is joined with a special PVC adhesive for large dimensions; the thread is sealed in the standard way.
Suitable for plant rooms of commercial pools, wellness centres and large private pools with performance exceeding standard domestic installations.
