The PVC reducer is used to change the pipe diameter from DN110 to DN90 in pool and water-park installations. The rigid PVC-U material withstands chlorinated water, UV radiation and pressures up to 16 bar (PN16).
The short design saves space in the plant room and allows a smooth connection without unnecessary flow losses. The inner surface of the reducer is smooth, which minimises hydraulic losses in the system.
The connection is made by solvent welding using PVC adhesive and primer, resulting in a permanent and strong joint. The fitting complies with the standards for pressure pipe systems DIN 8063.
