The slinger ring is a small but important protective element of ESPA pumps of the Niper, Silen, Silen I and NOX series. Its task is to catch and divert water or moisture that would otherwise penetrate the motor bearing area and cause corrosion or premature wear.
A worn or missing slinger ring significantly shortens the life of the motor bearings and can lead to complete pump failure during the season. Regular inspection of the ring’s condition during the annual pump service is therefore part of preventive maintenance.
The part is an original ESPA component, guaranteeing precise dimensions and material properties that meet the manufacturer’s specifications. Replacing the ring is simple when the pump is disassembled and does not require special tools.
