Socket Nipple L/Male Thread PVC d50×1 1/2″

The socket nipple L/male thread d50×1 1/2″ is a transition fitting connecting PVC pipework with a diameter of 50 mm to a 1 1/2″ BSP male thread. It allows a firm and tight connection of various devices in pool hydraulics.

PVC-U guarantees a long service life even under conditions of chlorinated pool water and resists the mechanical stress during thread tightening. The smooth flow cross-section minimises pressure losses in the installation.

The fitting is routinely used when connecting pool pumps, switching valves or sight glasses, where it is necessary to transition from DN50 pipework to a 1 1/2″ threaded joint.
