The solvent-weld hose tail d20 PVC PN16 is used to connect rigid PVC pipe to a flexible hose. One side of the fitting is solvent welded to the pipe or into the socket of a fitting, while the other side is shaped as a tail for fitting and clamping the hose.
The unplasticised PVC-U design is chemically resistant and remains stable over the long term in contact with pool or hot tub water. The d20 dimension is typically used to connect smaller units, pumps and dosing pumps.
The tail is compatible with standard hoses of approximately 16–20 mm internal diameter and withstands a PN16 working pressure. Installation by solvent welding on the PVC side is fast and requires no special tools.
