The PVC-U glue/female-thread union in the d32 × 1″ version serves to connect plastic piping with a diameter of 32 mm to threaded elements with a 1″ BSP thread. The fitting belongs to the PN16 pressure class and is standardly used in pool and garden water installations.
The 1″ thread covers the connection of medium-sized pumps, flow meters or valve assemblies, where PVC piping is combined with metal fittings or plastic elements with a male thread. The glue socket ensures a firm and permanent connection to d32 PVC piping.
The detachability of the union allows replacement of the threaded fitting without intervention in the pipe system. The PVC-U material is inert to chlorine, sulfates as well as algicides, thereby guaranteeing trouble-free operation throughout the entire service life of the installation.
