Upper Part of QS 500 Filter Vessel

The upper part is a structural half of the split QS 500 filter vessel. Together with the lower half, it forms a compact filter vessel joined by a massive steel clamp – this system allows easy access to the filter media without dismantling the pipework.

The original polypropylene manufacture guarantees resistance to UV radiation, frost and pool chemicals. The precise tolerances of the manufacturing process guarantee correct seating of both halves and a watertight seal by means of a circumferential gasket.

Replacement of the upper part is carried out without intervention in the pipe routing – it is enough to loosen the steel clamp, replace the damaged part, fit the gasket and re-tighten the clamp. When replacing, we recommend also checking the condition of the gasket and replacing it if necessary.
