The union nut is a standard connecting element used on the connections of the QS range of filter vessels. When tightened, it presses the fitting or hose connection against the sealing surface and ensures a watertight and pressure-resistant connection without the need to use thread sealant or sealing tape.
The white version made of durable PVC withstands permanent contact with chlorinated pool water and UV radiation. The standard dimensions of the nut are compatible with the original connections of the QS vessel, so replacement is quick and straightforward.
We recommend replacing the union nuts preventively during each major filter service or in the event that dripping appears at the connection. The affordable replacement prevents damage to the surrounding pipework caused by water leakage.
