The PVC Y-piece with a branch angle of 60° and a nominal diameter of 50 mm (d50) is a standard fitting for branching the pool piping system into two lines. The PN16 pressure class guarantees safe operation at a working overpressure of up to 16 bar.
The PVC-U material is chemically inert to chlorinated water as well as acids and alkalis commonly used in pool water treatment. As a result, no corrosion or material degradation occurs that would compromise the tightness of the joint.
The fitting is joined by solvent welding with a socket connection or by mechanical couplings, with standard dimensions guaranteeing compatibility with other PN16 PVC fittings on the market. The Y-piece is suitable for filtration circuits, counter-current systems and chemical dosing.
The smooth internal surface minimises hydraulic losses at the branch and contributes to an even flow into both lines.
