Pre-Filter Lid Seal of Mr.Master Pump – position 9

The pre-filter lid seal position 9 is an elastic ring seal seated in the groove of the lid of the transparent pre-filter of the Mr.Master pump. It ensures a watertight closure of the pre-filter and prevents the ingress of air into the suction circuit, which would reduce the pump’s performance.

A worn seal manifests as water dripping or an audible sucking of air around the pre-filter lid. Replacement is very simple – just remove the lid, take out the old seal and fit a new one.

The seal is made of rubber resistant to chlorinated water. We recommend lubricating it with silicone grease before installation for better sealing and easier disassembly during the next basket cleaning.
