The lid seal for the MFS filter tank is a ring-shaped rubber element that sits in the groove around the perimeter of the tank opening and, when the lid is closed, forms a hermetic joint resistant to operating pressure.
The material composition resists the chemical substances contained in pool water as well as the temperatures reached during summer operation or the heating of the circulation circuit.
Regular inspection and replacement of the seal (recommended every 2–3 seasons) prevents water leakage, a drop in pressure in the filtration system and potential damage to the surrounding installation.
The seal is a direct replacement for the original part and exactly matches the dimensions of the standardised MFS-series tanks.
