The TOP VF valve seal is a rubber sealing element located at the point where the 6-way valve connects to the filter vessel. A correct seal is a condition for the safe operation of filtration under pressure and prevents water leaks into the plant room.
If dripping or a visible water leak occurs at the valve, replacing the seal is the first and cheapest step of the repair. The original seal guarantees precise dimensions and the correct rubber hardness for the given valve model.
Replacement usually also involves inspection of the clamp and the valve seat. The seal is compatible with the entire TOP VF filter series from manufacturer Emaux.
