The loose flange d280 made of PVC material is intended for creating detachable flanged joints on large pipe, typically near pumps, filters or other equipment requiring regular inspection or replacement.
Unlike glued joints, a flanged connection allows easy disassembly without the need to cut or destroy the pipe. The loose flange is combined with a stub flange and gasket to achieve full tightness.
The 280 mm diameter corresponds to the largest pool distribution lines and pipe of industrial water systems. The PVC material resists the aggressive environment of pool water and requires no coating or anti-corrosion protection.
