PVC Pipe

Pressure PVC pipes for pool and hot tub plumbing – pipes from d12 up to d315 in pressure classes PN10 and PN16, sold by the metre or in 5 m lengths, and transparent PVC Glas pipe for places where you want to see the water flow. In-stock items ship within 48 hours, with shipping across the EU. PN10 or PN16 The number after PN is the nominal pressure in bar the pipe is rated for. PN10 is enough for the standard filtration circuit of a private pool; PN16 has a thicker wall and is chosen for the discharge pipework of powerful pumps, counter-current units and water features. Pipes of the same diameter in different pressure classes have the same outer diameter, so they are solvent-welded into the same fittings. How to choose the diameter The diameter is given as the outer diameter and is chosen according to flow rate – pipework that is too narrow increases resistance, strains the pump and reduces filtration performance. Private pools are usually plumbed in d50 or d63; large diameters above d110 are intended for public pools and main collector pipes. For longer runs, a 5 m length works out cheaper than buying by the metre. What to watch out for Rigid pipe in the ground should be laid in a sand bed and protected from frost – freezing water will split it. For places with movement or sharp bends, use a flexible hose from the Hoses & Pipes category. You will find fittings for connecting pipes in the PVC Fittings category. Who this category is for For construction and installation companies and for pool owners who are building or rebuilding their pool technology. The e-shop is run by IDOL SPAS s.r.o., a Czech hot tub manufacturer with its own service team. We offer service companies and resellers a wholesale programme with individual pricing.
