The control system is the brain of a hot tub: it switches the pumps, heater, blower and lights, and monitors water temperature. This category carries over 500 parts for Balboa and Gecko systems and complete ACC control packs — the brands that run the majority of European hot tubs. Open the electrical compartment and note the type printed on the base pack — for Balboa this might be GS100 or BP200, for Gecko an IN. series. Choose a panel with the correct connector and function count accordingly: a panel for a single pump plus blower (VL600S) will not work on a system with two pumps — that needs a VL702S. Also watch out for overlays — some panels are sold without one, since the print varies by hot tub configuration. When replacing a complete control pack, check the integrated heater output (3 kW vs. 5.5 kW) against your supply's fuse rating, and the number of pump outputs. A two-speed massage pump needs a pack with a matching output. What to watch out for Error codes on the display (FLO, OH, dr and similar) often don't mean faulty electronics — a clogged filter or a bad flow sensor is a more common cause. Before ordering a new base pack, check the filter cartridge and the connecting cables first; sensors and cables are stocked separately in our electrical parts category.
