Ozonizers & UV

Ozonisers and UV-C systems for water disinfection, plus their spare parts – Balboa Ultrazone, CMP and LX ozonisers, Balboa Wavetec, Blue Lagoon SpAOP, ClearRay and Aqua Filtrix UV systems, combined UV and ozone units Balboa Wavezone and CMP Synergy, and EXCLUSIVE ozone units for large pools with a volume of 200 to 1,200 m³. Also replacement UV bulbs, quartz tubes, ballasts, non-return valves, hoses and ozone injectors. In-stock items ship within 48 hours, with shipping across the EU. Ozone or UV An ozoniser produces ozone, which is drawn through an injector into the flowing water and oxidises impurities and microorganisms. A UV-C lamp destroys microorganisms with radiation directly in the stream of water flowing past it. Both methods significantly reduce the consumption of chlorine or bromine, but do not replace them entirely – a small amount of disinfectant must remain in the water to work beyond the lamp. Combined UV and ozone systems bring together the benefits of both. When to replace parts A UV bulb loses efficiency before it stops glowing – replace it according to the manufacturer's recommendation, usually once a year. The quartz tube around the bulb needs to be cleaned of deposits, otherwise it weakens the radiation. In an ozoniser, the non-return valve that stops water flowing back into the unit wears out, as does the hose between the ozoniser and the injector. How to find the right part Bulbs and tubes are not universal – they differ in length, base and power. Look for the part by the brand and model of your system (for example ClearRay for Sundance and Jacuzzi hot tubs, WAVETEC254 for Balboa) or by the order number on the old part. You will find UV sterilisers for pools in the UV Sterilizers category, and chlorine-free water treatment in the Chlorine-Free Treatment category. Who this category is for For hot tub owners who want fewer chemicals and gentler water, and for service technicians. The e-shop is run by IDOL SPAS s.r.o., a Czech hot tub manufacturer with its own service team – if you are unsure which part fits your hot tub, we will advise from hands-on experience. We offer service companies and resellers a wholesale programme with individual pricing.
