The distribution arm collector is an internal part of the Cantabric filter tank, model 22402. It serves to evenly distribute water into the filter media and collect the filtered water back into the discharge pipework. The 3/4″ thread ensures a standard connection to the filter tank’s distribution system.
The part is made of chemically resistant ABS or PVC plastic, which is safe for contact with both drinking and pool water. A properly functioning collector is essential for even filtration and prevents the formation of flow channels in the sand or glass filter media.
During service disassembly of the filter tank, visual inspection of the collector and replacement upon any damage is recommended. The use of an original part guarantees the correct dimensions and filtration function.
